How to Calculate Quantity of Shuttering Oil-

Let’s assume we have 300m² area of slab and surface of shuttering is pigment free.

So we will calculate shuttering oil quantity for wooden shuttering and steel shuttering.

Given Data:

Area of slab=300m²

Shuttering Surface=Pigment free

Solution:

We will do calculation of shuttering oil for wooden and steel shuttering separately to understand the calculations properly.

 

How to Calculate Quantity of Shuttering Oil For Wooden Shuttering:

If we have pigment free wooden shuttering, we know that 1 litre shuttering oil used to cover 30 to 40 meter square area of wooden shuttering (If shuttering is pigment free).

Formula—Quantity of Wooden Shuttering Oil= Total Area/ 1 Litre Oil Covering Area

=300/30

= 10 litres

So 10 litres Shuttering oil is needed for 300m² Area.

Suppose 1 litre shuttering oil price is 350 rupees

So 10 litres shuttering oil price =350x10

3500 rupees

How to Calculate Quantity of Shuttering Oil for Steel Shuttering:

We know that as per standards 1 litre shuttering oil covers 60 to 70 sqaure meter area of steel shuttering if shuttering is pigment free.

Formula—Quantity of Steel Shuttering Oil= Total Area/ 1 Litre Oil Covering Area

=300/60

=5 litres

So 5 litre Shuttering oil is needed for 300m² Area.

Suppose 1 litre shuttering oil price is 350 rupees

So 5 litres shuttering oil price =350x5

=1750 rupees

NOTE- ALL DIMENSIONS AND COST OF SHUUTERING OIL IS JUST FOR EXAMPLE MARKET RATE MY DIFFER FROM THESE RATE OF SHUTTERING OIL.
